Genesis Foundation Colombia is a nonprofit organization that was started in 2007 with the mission of preventing, treating, and rehabilitating individuals with substance use disorders. Their team of multidisciplinary clinicians provide comprehensive care that includes individual and group counseling, family counseling, relapse prevention counseling, and psychoeducation. Genesis Foundation Colombia treats both addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their levels of care include a residential program in Sopo, about an hour outside of Bogotá. In Bogotá, they offer an outpatient treatment program. The outpatient program lasts 2 months while the residential program duration is in accordance with each individual’s needs.
